Empowering Female Gender For Equal Opportunity

Female gender are most times at disadvantage to attract opportunities. This has however led to upsurge in the number of feminized poverties especially in the rural spaces of Africa. In the rural communities of Africa, Agriculture is the primary occupation and according statistics, larger percentage of women are in the agricultural work force. Hence, need to identify with them to improve their productivity.

Agrogender Development was therefore conceived to empower the female gender by identifying the challenges they encounter on the farm and building a sustainable solution from those challenges to improve their gender outlook. In Mariwo, Apomu and Akure community, the projects have helped the rural women and girls improved their businesses while improving their livelihood and that of their respective households.
