The society has made agriculture synonymous to poverty therefore making young people not to be interested in agric-related professions. Instead, they choose career paths among other seemingly lucrative fields which are becoming saturated daily while the opportunities in agriculture remain unharnessed. In the same light as well, the culture of school farm is rapidly going into extinction thereby negatively affecting the quality of agricultural teaching in schools.

Teensgrowforest project is thereby addressing the above stated problems from the root by first seeking to transformed the mind of young people with our transformational education curriculum, then offer them practical agricultural skills through restoration of school farms and expose them to opportunities in agricultural value chains. This way, our youths shall be motivated to study agriculture, practice agriculture as a career and make our community to be food secured.
